30/03/2010 Thanks for letting me know, Helen. Yes, I kept it up for 19 years, beat the Tax Office's first attempt to have me declared bankrupt. Didn't fight their second attempt as I was pretty sure I couldn't win, and was declared bankrupt. Lost about $50,000 in fines, interest and bankruptcy trustee's fees in addition to the tax they considered was owed. My ageing mother begged me to give it up. After much soul searching and consultation with friends and family, I gave up that particular struggle about 3 years later. I continue to work to try make the world a better place, using my knowledge and experience in Renewable Energy Technology. By the way, past issues of Nonviolence Today are available on the Web again, at a new address, with a local search. http://dkeenan.com/NvT/ -- Dave Keenan
